Giving With a Cheerful Heart
We believe generosity should flow from faith and conviction — never from pressure or obligation.
The tithe means “one tenth.” It represents the first portion of our income that we return to God in obedience and trust. Tithing is not about earning favour; it’s about honouring God with what already belongs to Him. When we put Him first in our finances, we are responding to His instruction and standing on His promises.
We don’t give to try and receive something in return — we give because we love Him and choose to obey Him.
What About Offering?
Offerings are gifts given above and beyond the tithe. They are voluntary, Spirit-led expressions of generosity.
Throughout Scripture, we see the principle of sowing and reaping — what we sow in faith, God uses for His purposes. This includes our finances. When it comes to offerings, we encourage you to give prayerfully, thoughtfully, and in alignment with your own conviction before God.
Giving should never be careless or burdensome. We don’t encourage anyone to put themselves under financial strain in order to give. Your generosity is ultimately a personal journey between you and God, guided by wisdom, faith, and relationship with Him.
